Breathwork

Transformational breathwork is a powerful, body-based practice that supports deep emotional release, nervous system regulation, and expanded self-awareness.

By working directly with the breath, it helps move stuck emotions, reduce stress, and access subconscious patterns without needing to overanalyze. Many people experience greater clarity, a sense of lightness, and a deeper connection to themselves after a session.

When practiced with a skilled practitioner, you’re safely guided beyond the limits your mind would normally hold, allowing you to access deeper layers, stay present through intensity, and move into places your ego might avoid on its own.

Over time, this work can help rewire habitual responses, increase resilience, and create lasting, embodied change.

Humans are very mind-oriented creatures, actively using only 5%-7% of the mind that is conscious. We are always seeking mentally traceable results.

However, all of our experiences are stored in the memory cells of the body, especially our traumas. When faced with a stressful situation, our autonomic nervous system goes into overdrive (fight/flight), becoming dysregulated and overloaded. This creates an imprint in our cellular memory that will be reactivated over and over until we address it. Cognitive therapy is rarely enough to greatly impact our behavior programs as again it only works with 5%-7% of the mind and doesn’t access the body or subconscious like breathwork and psychedelics do.

Somatic Work

Somatic (or body-based) work such as breathwork helps guide the body to release the patterns created by stress and supports activation of the parasympathetic nervous system—the state of rest, repair, and restoration.

We cannot only work on healing the mind; the central nervous system must be addressed for true, lasting change to take hold in the body. When you are grounded and regulated in your nervous system, you are no longer operating from survival patterns, but from a place of presence and stability.

From here, it becomes natural to access creativity, deeper connection, expansion, joy, love, and openness—allowing you to respond to life with greater clarity, authenticity, and ease.

How it works

The method of circular diaphragmatic breathing (no pause between the inhale and exhale) is easy to do and is accompanied by curated and evocative music.

I offer the sessions in person in my healing space or virtually.

The sessions are 1 ½ hours- for 30-45 minutes we will connect and discuss what is present for you in your current experience and what your intentions are for the session. We will then breathe for the remainder of our time together. The first session will also include some instructions and indications for what to expect and how to best engage in the process.

The more sessions that you can do closer together the greater the impact. If you are in a particularly challenging time in your life, then 2+ sessions a week may be recommended if this is available for you.

During the session I will be guiding you to fine-tune your breathing and weaving in aspects of your intentions and manifestations. The end of the session will include a gentle integration period and then some sharing if you are called.

What you will need for a virtual session:

A way to access zoom with a camera

A private quiet space where you can lie down

A blindfold, eye pillow or cloth to direct you inwards

A blanket and pillow

An open mind and a willingness to receive

There is no “right or wrong” in the session. What you are ready to address will come up. Even if you have a specific intention in your mind/ego, the breath, body and subconscious will open up what needs to open. Trust your inner being to unlock what is ready to be received.
